Delete or deactivate Twitter Account: Simple steps

1. Log in to your Twitter account from a desktop or laptop computer.

2. Click the button at the top of the page that looks like a person's head with a downward-pointing arrow next to it to open a drop-down menu.

3. Select “Settings” from the menu.

4. Scroll down to the very bottom of page and click “Deactivate My Account.”

5. Read the warnings and click the “Okay, Fine, Deactivate...” button.
